Information about our services and or products ...

Dr. Andy Rogers is responsible for the running of the Weather Station with the help other observers, Jackie Rogers, Celia Glover, Jim Stewart, Jo Baker, Gill Roes-Francken and David and Sheila Walshaw.

Originally, the instruments were read twice a day - at 9.00 GMT and 5.00pm local time and the results sent to the Met Office and then published next day in the Daily Telegraph and the Times newspapers. However, in 2007 the papers took the decision to only accept readings from automated weather stations and the Ross-on-Wye readings were dropped. Ross Online has been publishing the results since then (now just taken once a day at 9.00 GMT).
