About Us...

The Saracens Head is a family run inn situated alongside the River Wye at Symonds Yat East. We serve good food and beverages in a relaxed atmosphere as well as offering riverside accommodation all year around.
A broad range of lagers, beers, ales and non-alcoholic beverages are served from our well-stocked bar. We have several ales including Marston's Pedigree, Theakston's Old Peculiar, Theakston's Best; and a few from the Wye Valley Brewery: Butty Bach, Hereford Pale Ale and Treckers. The flagstoned bar maintains the relaxed and friendly atmosphere - overlooking the River Wye.
We serve a wide selection of meals from two different menus: Our Lunch Menu and Dinner Menu. One can choose to eat in a relaxed and informal environment either outside or in.
The Saracens Head Inn is situated in the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and this part of the Wye Valley is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Outdoor activities that may be pursued in Symonds Yat East include walking, cycling, canoeing, climbing, abseiling, potholing and fishing.
