About Us...

Dating from 1867, The Penny Farthing is set in beautiful rolling countryside on the borders of Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.
The area is famous for its abundance of fruit and vegetable growers and also for some of the best meat in the country, especially our famous Hereford beef. Our menus features good quality, locally sourced food at value for money prices.
Our restaurant is perfect for Sunday lunch and special occasions, whilst the bar is great for informal eating or just having a drink and socialising with friends. We also have a private dining room for small parties that can be used for celebrations, shooting parties or just for privacy. There is also a large garden with stunning views towards Wales and the Malvern Hills.
For business customers, make the most of your lunch hour by booking your lunchtime meal before 11.30am on the day of your visit to The Penny Farthing by phoning 01989 750366.
We have at least two real ales on at all times and of course local cider! Our wine list has been compiled using a lot of the lesser known wineries so that we can offer you excellent quality wines at a very reasonable price.
The Penny Farthing has two B&B rooms that are en-suite, so you can join us for a night or even a weekend and enjoy the atmosphere of this lovely old pub, and of course the beautiful surrounding countryside.

The M50 motorway is 5 minutes away, with its links to the M5 and A40 (leading to the M40 so we are very accessible.

We look forward to welcoming you to
The Penny Farthing Inn and Restaurant.
