About Us...

Set in a magnificent 1000 acre estate, resting sedately above the glorious Wye Valley just 10 minutes from Ross-on-Wye, Bishopswood House provides the perfect venue for wedding reception, special family occasions and all types of functions.
Bishopswood House is just to good to share - choosing it for your special day will guarantee total exclusivity for your and your guests. We will handle as much of the arrangements and detail as you wish - catering, flowers, entertainment - everything to make your day a memorable one.
For guests requiring an overnight stay there is an interesting diversity of accommodation including twin and double rooms with luxury ensuite facilities, four poster beds and an intriguing suite of rooms, perfect for the whole family to treat as its own private getaway.
Taking over the whole house and grounds allows you to plan your day exactly how you wish, perhaps a marquee and fireworks in the garden, a band and dance area beneath the glass dome or a more traditional reception with top table and trimmings - the choice is yours.
